Brassic Ends Its Run with Tarantino-Inspired Finale
Joseph Gilgun and Danny Brocklehurst are bringing the curtain down on their comedy series about a tight-knit bunch of endearing rogues running riot in a countryside town in Lancashire. You might expect the last episode to be a greatest hits victory lap of booze, drugs and cheeky thievery. But, the atmosphere turns much more somber as the character Vinnie, played by Gilgun and the crew barricade themselves in a pub with criminal figure Davey MacDonagh for a climactic 50th episode seemingly influenced by the filmmaker Quentin Tarantino.
