I'll dominate 'serious fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to promote next month's bout.
Former two-time world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
